The Board of Management of Ballycar National School in consultation with the Parents’ Association and teaching staff has in place the following policy on school uniform:

 

School Uniform

JUMPER AND T-SHIRT 

• • • • All weather, v-neck, sweatshirt (shell suit) with light blue stripes
        
        
        • Available from All Season Uniform Suppliers.

• Light blue aertex T-Shirt with collar (available from department stores; various prices). Fleece coat with school crest is also available;

TROUSERS  

• Navy tracksuit bottoms (Plain, no stripes or logos, available from department stores; various prices)

• Children should wear safe, suitable shoes.
  
  
• Children are permitted to wear slippers or light non-slip rubber soled shoes indoors.
  
  
• Children are permitted to wear wellingtons on the yard.
  
   
  
  All pupils are expected to wear the school uniform during school and school-related activities unless specifically excused.
